What do you get when you combine a mysterious murder mystery with a dash of classic musical theater? Murder For Two, a zany new musical comedy opening November 6 at off-Broadway’s New World Stages. Directed by Scott Schwartz, the production stars Jeff Blumenkrantz and Brett Ryback. The production will play a limited engagement through March 16.
Featuring music by Joe Kinosian, lyrics by Kellen Blair and a book by Kinosian and Blair, Murder For Two originally opened at Second Stage Uptown in July 2013. Moscowitz meets a long line of wacky suspects (all played by Blumenkrantz) and tries to piece together the mysterious puzzle. Plus, both stars play the piano!
Murder For Two features scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Andrea Laurer, lighting design by Jason Lyons and sound design by Jill BC DuBoff.
